I know nothing of the Hannigan's other than the link above, but I happen to have a Gillen package & a New Limerick letter noting the Beatrice Haggerty & Thomas Hannigan marriage which I'll send along with the Haggerty package. The only Hannigan's in my line would be those of you who can find a direct "connection" to Peter & Nancy McGuire Haggerty, like yourself. Yes, "we're long lost lenghty cousins". You mentioned Wayne McCarthy, I've been in touch in the past with Wayne McCarthy, he has much of the same info that I'm also passing to you. By the way, how is he "connected" to us; I could never quite get a clear statement from him on that matter. With respect to Haggerty info & those who are "connected" thereto, I'm interested in everything that you can send. Also, if you can, please try to fill in the blanks in my Haggerty data.You mentioned Irish roots: I found Peter Haggerty's Donegal roots via his citizenship papers. If your Charles Haggerty is the father of Beatrice, then, yes, we are longlost lengthy! cousins!! I don't think Peter would enter into my line, would it, except if he were the uncle of Beatrice.We are lacking info on children of Ethel, tho think Wayne McCarthy who lives here in Dover also....we hope to meet soon...may have a lot of that, as he is from that line, I believe. I live in Dover, NH...but am from Hodgdon Maine originally. My parents, just 80 years young, are back on the farm for last ?20 years almost...and so every time I go visit I pass the Hannigan homestead in New Limerick. I went in in winter and took photos from outside...and someday will go knock on their door and ask to come in!! We have somewhat limited info on Alice Marie, daughter of James L; and also of Justin Wayne, I guess. Luke has 85 pages about the descendants of Annie/Owen Hannigan, if you are interested, i know he would share it...he plans to do a book eventually for publication, I believe. I am trying to help fill in the holes...plus it is FUN!! I just wish we could track those Irish roots...You have had more luck than us w/ Haggertys in tracking to Donegal...any mention of where the Hannigan side had come from in any of your researching??
