    3. Hi David, I was very interested in your mention of the Bradley Maine area as my family Brown/Spencer was one of the original families in Bradley (used to be Plantation #4, owned by Asa Spencer). I am desperately trying to locate and information about the Isaiah/Josiah Brown marriage to Mary Spencer, parents to Moses (married Dianna Spencer) & Job Brown/Brawn (married Charlotte Spencer, divorced and married a Fogg sister, Rachel or Anne - I am not at home so the exact name of the Fogg sister that Job married is not certain at this moment). There is the potential of another Brown/Brawn sibling as a Joseph Brawn married the other Fogg sister. My dilemma is trying to locate the specific information in respect to Josiah/Isaiah Brown. There is speculation that he was married before and lost his wife possibly in child birth. This would possibly be the biological mother of Moses Brown who is my direct ancester who was born in Bradley, Maine. approx. 1830-1834 (again exact date at my home of which I am at work :) ) ANY information that you might have or know of would be GREATLY appreciated. Since the courthouse burned about 1850 or so it has made mine and my families search a real test of brain power and resources. So any information you might have or someone else reading this might have would AGAIN be GREATLY appreciated. Bradley, Maine is across the River from Old Town, Maine. They moved to Bradley from Boston, Mass, but they were from the Western end of PEI before moving to Boston, Mass. You can visit my web page: <http://members.aol.com/youngcolby/brooks.html> Now, Ruth Gray of Old Town, Maine has written a few books that should be helpful to people doing research in Penobscot County, Maine. I do not have copies of them, sorry, but I am sure the Maine State Library does. If you do not live in Maine get your Library to buy these book. Sincerely, David C.
