I was reading Arnold Deane Aldrich's _A Genealogical Survey of the Descendants of Moses Aldrich and Arnold Aldrich of Inverness Township, Queben, Canada (1984) and on page 4 he writes of my 3rd -gr-grandfather's brother: "Moses West ALDRICH, born in Vermont on May 16, 1810 . . . and married Bernice RICKER of Ireland Township on January 18, 1831. Moses west and Bernice had at least two children: Joseph Inverness and William T. No information on later events is the life of Moses West has been confirmed, however, some data indicate the possibility of a second marriage and numerous descendants in Penobscot County, Maine."
