Hello Group, I'm just asking if anyone has had the experience of looking at an LDS microfilm of the 1870 Federal Census. I've been looking thru the film for Penobscot County including the city of Bangor, these pages are very faint. Many pages unreadable even with the help of a magnifying glass. Does anyone know if it could be possible that there might be another filming of this census film available that would be readable or is it hopeless?
