    3. If you have any Wilson, Patterson or Keisers in your family, please see if the following could possibly fit your Maine family in anyway. - My gr-gr-grandmother, Harriet Patterson married Joseph Wilson of New Gloucester, ME in 1855. She carried into this marriage a daughter Elizabeth aged 3 years. Harriet Wilson died 1864, aged 35 years. Family history tells me that Harriet was a Keiser before her marriage to a Mr. Patterson. Mr. Patterson is said to have died in 1853. Harriet's first marriage and the birth of Elizabeth in 1852 are supposed to have taken place in Old Town ME. There is no Harriet Keiser in Leon Keiser's genealogy of that family. However a very old newspaper item says that Harriet was a Miss Patterson from Charleston, ME and orphaned early. It names 6 children born to Harriet and George Wilson. They are George, Luella, Mary, Lucy, Annie, and Arthur. It makes no mention of Elizabeth Patterson although she is listed in 1870 census as being in George Wilson family. Elizabeth Patterson married Edwin Baker. When she died in 1925, she was living in Portland, ME with a niece Elizabeth Thurbo. I hope someone can shed some light on Harriet Keiser, Harriet Patterson, or Harriet Wilson
