    3. I am interested in one of the Penobscot Probate Records, found by Stewart Rowe. Does anyone know where I can obtain a copy of a particular probate record found in the Abstracts? Record: Solomon Morton of Lee. Wife Alzira admr. Oct 1847. Four children unnamed. (vol 19, pg 92) Thanks - Peter Morton

    3. Hi Peter Penobscot County Protate abstracts are catalogued in the Probate Office at the Penobscot County Courthouse on Hammond Street in Bangor. Old abstracts were compiled in a book (or two) and a copy are in various libraries including Bangor Public Library. If you e-mail their reference department they will respond to a query.
