    1. [MEPENOBS-L] Annis Genealogy
    2. Angie & Rob
    3. Hello Listers~ My name is Angie Hutchins-Thomas and I have hit a brick wall in my Annis Genealogy. I am hoping that someone from Penobscot County will have some of the information that I am looking for. I am looking for information on Sarah Emma (or Emma Sarah) Annis b. 23 Sept. 1857 in Bradford, Maine and married Willard Curtis. She died 19 August 1943 in Belfast, Waldo County Maine. Her father was William Annis and he was married to a Twombley/Trombley. William was a ships carpenter. That is all I know of them. Does anyone have any info on these people and their ancestors?? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated. I am unable to do the leg work myself because I am a stay at home mom of 2 children and our budget doesn't allow me to do all the excursions I would like. I hope someone can help me out or share their info with me on these Annis'. I would be willing to share what little info I do have. Most Sincerely~ Angie Hutchins-Thomas

    3. Sharyn, Debby and I may find we are related later on down the road but right now we can't make a connection. Bangor was a very big lumbering area and probably still is. When I was there 35 years ago there is a statue of Paul Bunyan outside the town hall. Actually Bangor is a pretty neat place, like the rest of Maine. Trivia Question for all except 'Mainers': What are the two New England states with names the are French in origin? Charlie King Saratoga Co.
