Hi, Kim The only Joseph Menard that I know of living close to the Minneapolis area was Joseph Menard of Eau Claire Wiscosnin. He was married in the late 1800's to Matilda Ausman. I don't think he was born in Eau Claire. I do live in the Minneapolis area but I am not familiar with the Longtin name. Is that also a French Canadian name? Roxanne
