Andre was the son of Gaspar Menard and Catherine Hulin. Gaspard Menard was the brother of my husbands Ancestor, Andre Menard. The brothers among others descend from Pierre Menard Pierre Menard descends from Louis Menard, the immigrant...coming directly from France...documented info. When one casually finds references to ones family names, it is absolutely necessary to document, document, document. There is much info on the internet which is not documented nor is it correct.
