Francois Menard married Marie Madeleine Lamoureux at Contrecoeur, Quebec - 19 January 1739. Francois parents were Pierre Menard and Suzanne Laporte. Madeleine's parents were Louis Lamoureux and Madeleine Babin. I also have Marie Sophie Menard, daughter of Joseph Menard and Catherine Roy, born 11 October 1830 at Montebello, Papineau County, Quebec. She was baptized 21 November 1830. The names of her godparents were Michel Leger dit Perisien and Sophie Roy. "Roy" is also "Ray" in some sources. Another variation may be "Roi." If you wish further details, I have more information on the Menard line since I am a direct descendant of Pierre Menard and Suzanne Laporte. Glenn E. Menard.
