The reason why Sophie (Sophia) Chouteau is not on any records is because the infamous family, the Chouteau's were Roman Catholic, therefore,when Sophia ran off with E.H. Webb (a Mormon Minister)her father's (Auguste Rene Chouteau)brother had her disinherited and destroyed any information regarding her existence. Sophia's mother is Rebecca West Sefton.
