    1. [Menard/Maynard] Rayside Menards
    2. Roger & Diane
    3. In the 1901 Rayside Ontario Census (Sudbury area), there are 4 Menard families listed. I'm trying to see if they are somehow related? I have from Emilien's obit that he was born in Plaisance, Quebec. Perhaps all these Menards were. They are: In House #52 - Basil Menard b:May 20,1818 Quebec Henriette Menard b: Aug, 25 1831 Quebec In House #60 (My gr-grandparents) - Napoleon Menard b: May 8, 1857 Quebec Rose Menard b: July 8,1867 Quebec In House #61 - Emelien Menard b: Nov. 1, 1851 Quebec Leona Menard b: Feb, 16, 1856 Quebec In House #117 - Alphonse Menard b: Oct.5, 1869 Quebec Maggie b: May 4, 1863 USA I also have all the names of the children living with them at the time of the census if this would help. Interesting enough, I know that Napoleon and Rose were married in Michigan and had the first 5 children in USA, immigrating in 1894. The census shows Alphonse's first 4 children being born in USA and immigrating in 1895. It sure looks like they could all be the same family but I just can't get a connection! Any help would be greatly appreciated. Diane Nadeau (Menard)
