She was born about 1830...April 1830 possibly, in Canada. I do not trust the census records to be 100 percent accurate, but that is what it shows. Julia married Pierre / Peter Fournier about 1847/1848. Peter Fournier was in Clinton county, NY by 1840, from either Vermont (Alburg, Grand Isle county) or Quebec. The children of Peter & Julia are: Pierre b. 1848 William b. 1850 Esther b. 1853 David b. 1855 Julie b. 1857 Emile/Amelia b. 1859 Henriette / Harriet b. 1861 Catherine (Cordelia) / Adelia b. 1868 Marie-Mathilda "Mary" b. 1865 Adeline "Addie" b. 1868 Louis b. & d. 1873 If you have any suggestions, leads or connections please let me know. I don't remember anyone, and have no idea where everybody is. Thank you so much! ps: I have a sister named Theresa! Berni

Apparently there was a courthouse fire that burned most of the family records. Here is what I do know: Edmund's daughter's name is Bertha Mary (b.approx. 1895, location: ?) To the best of our knowledge her mother's name was Julia. Edmund & Bertha both lived in Woodruff, WI Bertha is my great grandmother, and we have never found out if she had any brother's or sisters. Her memory was failing a lot by the time anyone became interested in the family history. Does any of this match up? Thanks! -Amy
