    3. Well, it was sunny today, but never really got warm, and by 3:30 it was all ready getting cold. Had a slow day, worked on my genealogy most of the day, found some cousins, they live here in California. I am trying to write a letter to the oldest, found his address in the white pages, started a letter, but it's so hard to write to someone I have never met, and to tell them they are a far distant cousin sounds so phony. I am thinking he is shaking his head, wondering what I am going to get out of this, (am I for real) I did this when I made up the Sullivan Family tree, I got some returns, but there were others who didn't want anything to do with genealogy. I think, they think, I am going to find some family secrets, or maybe they have something to hide !!!! I have to finish this and get it all printed up, because my eyes are failing, and I don't know how long I can keep doing research. I have many brick walls, and would love to break a few of them down, before I go to that big Garden in the sky. My husband is watching "War Of the Worlds" I am sitting here listening, sounds kind of scary. Have any of you watch those home shows, most of them are on HGTV, House Hunters, Outrageous Kitchens, They find houses for people, all over the world, and then there is one with two brothers who talk people into buying houses, and tell them they can make them into, their dream homes !!!! I just started watching them, I am so tired of the TV shows on right now. There are just a few reality shows I like, they rest don't interest me at all. I can't believe how soon they start reruns these days, seems like only a couple of months of the new season, and than comes the reruns !!!! Well I am going to go finish cleaning up the kitchen, I was soaking a couple of pots, but now I am sure they are ready to put in the dishwasher. Have a good evening !!! Sully, in California

    3. It was nice and sunny here today and it did get warm by noon or a little after. I don't know what the high temp was but it must have been near 70. We had a breeze blowing just about all day long. I didn't have to leave the house today so I never did get "dressed up". I had my usual breakfast, a bowl of cereal, sausage, hash browns, and scrambled eggs. I had a small glass of cranberry juice to wash down the few pills I take each morning and half a cup of coffee. I did go outside a couple of times just to get the feel of the warm sun and do a little weed patrolling. Back in November I dug up all of the iris corms and amaryllis bulbs. I spaded the bed and added some soil amendments and bone meal and slow release fertilizer and replanted the iris and added some new dutch iris bulbs. I put the amaryllis bulbs in a different bed. All are growing well and hopefully I will have some blooms next month. I have my thermostat set at 75 now but will start to lower it as the days warm up more. The heater doesn't come on much during the day and maybe once an hour at night. I had/have a first cousin who lived/lives in New Mexico. I use past and present tense verbs here because I don't know if she is still living. I have written to her in the past trying to get family information but she doesn't answer my letters. I will try to get information through the local LDS Family Research Center as soon I get past my present health state.
