First of all, Shirley, have you tried hand warmers to help the pain in your hands? They have several different kinds, battery, shake, etc. Cold bothers my arthritis also, use a lot of Deep Heating muscle rub. Yesterday I took 3 of my grandkids, 2 boys 14 and 18, girl 18 to Woolaroc Museum and animal reserve near Bartlesville, OK. It was Frank Phillips country home, beautiful place, lots of Western and Indian art and artifacts. The boys spent lots time in the rooms that display all the guns. Granddaughter took lots of pictures of the flowers. We ALL climbed the tower to the observation deck. My legs tell me today it wasn’t a smart thing to do. Doug, I am going to keep layering with the potatoes in to water tank. Has anyone planted in wooden palettes? The north end of my garden has grass that just spreads when I till, so we put plastic down then the palettes and filled with dirt, will plant in the cracks. Hope it will also kill grass.
