For sometime now, I have been aware that I no longer know the names of young actors and actress. I will hear a name on the news, or read it in the newspaper, and have no idea "who it is" ????? My husband and I will be watching a TV program, and they will mention someone's name, we turn to each other and say "who is that", or say do you know who that is ???? It's happening more and more !!!! I won't say I was all informed on famous people, but I knew my good share. I am thinking how did this happen ??? We watch morning news shows, than The View at 10:00 AM, The Chew at noon and my husband watch's a lot of the evening talk shows, and tapes some on our DVR, Jay Leno, David Letterman, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Craig Ferguson. So it's not as if we are not informed, I read a lot, I watch the morning news, also read the newspaper, some times every section, from page to page !!. What got me on this is, get ready for for this !!!! in our local newspaper there was a article about a Musink, Tattoo, and music festival, What is a MUSINK, it goes on to say Music, so that's not what it means, I looked it up in my handy new international dictionary, it's not there. OK but then there are the names of new musical groups and bands, the names of these groups throw me for a loop, I see no rime or reason for the names: Bad Religion, Pennywise, and Reverend Horton Heat !!!! just to mention a few, I am just getting to old !!! I think our husbands must be cousins Jeannie, I have many plants in pots, because a few years ago I had severe back problems, and being that the pots were higher, I was able to do a good deal of gardening in large clay pots. My husband moves the pots around from time to time, but pays no attention to the amount of sun or shade the plants need. He puts plants that should have morning sun, in full sun, or plants that need full sun in the shade, or even worst, he sits one potted plant, into another potted plant that's much bigger, because he wants clean around the area, but never takes the pot out and of course the plant that is covered dies. Just a few days ago he decided to put some plants out of a area that he thinks needs grass, but he paid no attention on how much sun or air they need. I spent three months cleaning up that area last summer, there is to much shade for grass to grow good, but is good for clay pots because they sit on dirt, and don't dry out as easy as when they sit on the patio (concrete). Also they sit on both sides of a little path I made around the back of our patio, looks so sweet the way I fit the plants in, and they make the whole area work. There was one of my beautiful white Hydrangeas wilted and dying, I got mad, and told him to leave my flowering plants where they are, I found the perfect place that they love and do there best. But on his behalf, he was never into gardening, he knows how to grow a good lawn, but he doesn't know one plant from another. He doesn't understand that sometimes a plant loves where it's at, does it's best, and shouldn't be moved. I love a beautiful garden, and enjoy working in my garden, it's good exercise, keeps me strong (I have lots of muscle in my arms) and my doctor says a strong women, is a healthy women. Sully in Cloudy and Cold California, rain is coming !!!!
