Johnny's birthday was St Patricks birthday, so he had his fiance frost his hair green! Bet he gets tired of it and has her dye it back dark brown/black . MRE stands for 'Meals ready to eat', and theres everything you need in a tough plastic pouch to make a complete meal, dried fruit, cakes, main course, heater pouch, pkt of TP, matches, gum ,etc...cheeses, crackers, a tiny hot sauce bottle, ...Oh, just all sorts of weird things. There are 3 or 4 series you can get, including one for ethnic groups...We all thought that would be interesting, to try all Nations of food in pouches...I bought this case in KY at a Military surplus store. They were more than $4 a meal, so not cheap like they used to be. When Son lived in California years ago I used to buy and ship him a case or two real often. He has always liked them...They were cheap and so was postage...Couldn't afford it now..either way...JneT ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > I hate to sound dumb, but what is a case of MRE'S, from your letter > it has something to do with the Military, is it rations ???? > > > My husband is in the kitchen making a cup of noodles, they are so > salty, but I like all the noodles.
