Yes, our Easter Sunday is so different now, I had my eye done on Wednesday, so haven't gotten my energy level up yet. I have been going to bed early, and getting up late, but last night I didn't sleep good, was very restless. Will have a very quiet Easter this year !!! I use to shop for days, to get the candy my children liked the best, ( little dots of candy on a long white paper, chocolate eggs filled with strawberry filling, just for couple) for my Children's Easter baskets, would also buy small toys to put in the basket, and than I would cellophane wrap the whole basket and put a big bow on the top. We all had new Easter outfits for church on Sunday, and maybe a Easter bonnet. We would dye a couple of dozen hard boiled eggs, we would hide them in the back yard and after church, all the children had a Easter egg hunt. Some how there was always one or two they didn't find, and weeks later one of the kids found them, STUNK TO HIGH HEAVEN they did !!!!! Always made a nice Ham, with all the trimmings, use to bake a cake, dye coconut green to put on top of cake, put some of those marshmallow bunny's on top, with jelly beans for eggs. The kids loved it, except my daughter she didn't like coconut at all, so had to keep one little spot on top of the cake with no coconut just for her. Oh, what fun we had, I didn't appreciated it enough, should have savored it more. Sully, in Sunny California
