My granddaughter might get a internship with a great company over in Irvine, she e-mailed me and said the interview went good, and she thinks she has a good chance of getting a job this summer. Last night my husband and I were talking, he said remember when you got what they called Birthday spankings, one spank for each year you were, and then they said a pinch to grow a inch, and there was something else they said, I can't remember, do any of you ???? The sun is out here, almost blinded me as I poured a cup of coffee this morning, it will get up in the high 60's, than each day be a little warmer till about Sunday or Monday, than they say clouds and another small chance of showers Wednesday & Thursday. I wish it would make up it's mind, stay warm, or rain for a few days. one day it's nice and warm, and the next it's cold and cloudy. When I got up this morning, it was completely overcast from horizon to horizon. Just solid, dull grey clouds. They are all gone now and we have bright sunshine. I will probably be out in the front yard after lunch, doing more weed removal. For the most part, they are not weeds but desert plants that I want to remove before they flower and set seed. I probably have completed about 75% of the necessary work. It is tiresome but I look at it as a labor of love...except when I get too close to one of the cactus plants and get poked with a thorn. I went to the lab at 7:00 this morning for a fasting blood draw. Those girls there sure are good "stickers". I never feel the needle go in. Drew four vials today. One for each of the things that need to be checked. This is the final thing for the pre-surgery checks. Now it is just a waiting game. I remember the Pin Up Stars also and I was just a kid during WWII. I agree with Sully about the amount of Porn that is now available. Just too darned much of it. Not into March madness yet! I hope all goes well with the surgery Robert. I was going to do blood work this morning, but have next week I can do it so changed my mind. My husband had to be at the veterans Dr. for the damentia at 9:30. Didn't want to wait that long before I could eat. Woke up before six so kind of tired today. I could really take a nap now.
