Hi you all Just finished my first cup of coffee, I noticed that my orchid is blooming up on my kitchen window sill, in fact there's another spike coming up too on the other side, but it's still very short, that makes the forth spike of orchids to grow on this plant. Got this about two months ago at Trader Joe's, it a small high end market, they have fresh pizza dough, and Pizza sauce. They always have beautiful plants for sell and well as fresh cut flowers, they sell good wine at a good price too. These are the small orchids, they are yellow and it almost looks like a rust color, very pretty !!! They are always busy, on the weekends, you have a hard time finding a parking place. Well it's going up into the 90's today, going to give my little guy a bath, he doesn't like baths, as soon as you put him in the water, he freezes, his legs get stiff, he won't turn around for you, so have to take him out of the water, turn him, than put him back in to the side that needs more soap. He is so funny, we can't let him outside because he will look for dirt and than roll in it, coming back in looking worse than before he got his bath. But later after he dries I think he likes the way he feels, his coat is so soft, and he smells so nice, and he gets all spunky It's a beautiful morning here, I heard a bird singing last night about nine o'clock, must be a mocking bird. They usually sing early in the morning, before it gets light outside, drives our one neighbor crazy. I am always worried that our one cat Fanny will find their nest and go after them, she is a fearsome hunter, and is always bringing home all kinds of dead critters to show me her prizes. We found a dead possum yesterday on our sidewalk, I think car must have hit her, I couldn't see a make on her. Now I wonder if she had babies anywhere around here, they will surly die without her to feed them. Why does that make me so sad ????? Where ever you are, make it a good day, Sully in Sunny California
Sully, You must live in the most beautiful place ever. You describe your surroundings and things around you, so beautifully. Thank you.It is cold here with 5 foot banks of snow from the plow. Sun is out though, so soon it will melt.
