    3. You know what, Louise? I agree with you. I thought those one-piece bathing suits that Betty Grable and Esther Williams, etc. wore, and the little shorts the girls wore, were pretty darn sexy. In those cases, more is better than less. Leave a little to the immagination! Maybe some clevage but not with evry thing hanging out. I wish they did it like that now. Seems they think less is better. I don't know. that new song out from that one that uses Bitch in it so much. I just hate that word and sure wouldn't buy any thing that went on like that. I think I am to old for this new world. Gees. Louise ----- Original Message -----

    3. There were cut out paper dolls in the Chicago Tribune comic section every week and my sister and I had to take turns getting them. They lasted much longer if put on very thin cardboard. There was Brenda Starr, Perry Winkles sister, The dragon Lady, and a lot of others I forget. We kept them in a shoe box and played school, going shopping, and lots more with them. Life was simple then and kids lives were much less hectic. Grace On Wed, Mar 20, 2013 at 10:02 PM, Jerrian <[email protected]>wrote: > You know what, Louise? I agree with you. 3. that is what my mom always told me, you have to leave something to the imagination. Makes them want to see more and can't. Can't you just imagine the girls now being in the OLD days. I remember my mom saying when ladies started showing the ankle it was shocking. You never wore mens pants, you could wear a riding skirt that was split but not mens pants. some of them may have wore the mens pants if they were haying or something like that, I laugh when I see a movie that is supposed to be late 1800's or early 1900's and the women are wearing really tight jeans. That was a no, no then.
