I may have to disagree about dining out for a truly good meal---one I would not cook at home! I love a nice aged steak or prime rib, a beautiful salad with fresh veggies and a good house or specialty dressing. I also love veal and love Italian restaurants that serve good veal dishes. I dislike chain restaurants and buffet style or "all you can eat", it is mostly run of the mill stuff anyone can throw together. I like old family owned businesses that have a great reputation for fine food and service. We are fortunate to have many in this area. In my experience you usually "get what you pay for". I also like trying new places with good reputations, like some of the Brazilian eateries have wonderful food, clean kitchens and great servers----we have many Italian places here that I have grown up with and are now operated by third and fourth generation, when you walk in they know your name, where you like to be seated and even remember your choice of salads etc. Hope all the Mom's on the list have enjoyed a wonderful day!
