    1. [ML] Dinner

    3. My cousin took me to dinner the other night along with a few others because I visit his mother at a personal care home. Her son doesn't live close by and her daughter lives in Texas. Except for a granddaughter who visits her and is very good to her and I, am the only ones to visit her. He took us to a very very expensive place. It was heaven for anyone who loves fish but I don't. They had all kinds of fish but only 4 things for people who don't like fish. They had Cashew Chicken, Strip steak and half of a Chicken, yuck and Filet Mignon, that's what I got. It costs $38.00 just for the meat, everything costs extra. Potatoes, which were very little of, costs $11.95. Spinach costs $9.95, little to and a rice dish with schrimp in it. $9.95. I had my spoon in the rice when my daughter told me that it had schrimp in it but I put it on my plate anyway because I didn't want to embarrass myself. I could tell that my daughter didn't like the cashew chicken and I realize now neither did my cousin. She brought it home and I was going to make it for myself until I looked at it. It looked awful like someone dumped their garbage in that container. The desert costs $8.95 which my daughter and I shared. I didn't feel bad ordering the filet because my cousin is a very rich man with 5 homes. The half of a chicken looked disgusting. Would you believe that the place was packed. People are getting money from some where. To my friends who are mothers, have a great one, and to my mother up in Heaven, love you mum, Barbie

    3. I had to laugh reading your letter about the expensive restaurant. Seems any more we look at the price and then figure what we are going to order. those places not much for people like us unless some one else is picking up the tab. People who have money I think enjoy taking people out that have helped them and that is a way of saying thank you. You have to figure he wanted to do it or wouldn't have invited you. It is good you can visit the mother. It is sad those places when no one can visit them and there they are. I know I just can't believe the prices on things in those places. When we visited my grandaughter in Simi Valley befor they had children. They had a couple of coupons for a restaurant in malibu, just ordinary place didn't have to dress up or any thing. Window looking on the ocean. But my gosh the prices. My husband was looking down the page like what am I going to order. They said any thing. Alot of fish choices which he doesn't really like fish. Don't remember what he ordered, but we made it through. Shared the desert. Around this little town, not many places to go, there is one more pricy place, but not like that. Enjoy your day.
