As I have grown older, there are lots of thing I did in a few minutes, that now take me much longer. The sheet thing started happening to me a few years ago, we have a queen size bed, so queen size sheets. I would get one corner of the sheet on the top of the bed, than go to the bottom of the bed to put another corner on ( I find doing opposite corners, makes it easier for me) and I discovered, I had the sheet on sideways. So I thought to myself, what can I do to make this not happen, I now take a marker pen, I make a mark on the fitted sheet in the middle of the inside hem on both the top and bottom of the fitted sheet, if it starts to fade, I just remark it. If you use a laundry pen, it doesn't fade as fast, sometimes never, depends on the fabric and how you launder uour sheets, saves me a lot of time. Its been warm and sunny here in Southern California for over a month now. I would enjoy the days more, if I knew we would get a bit of rain soon. My garden think's it's SPRING, everything is blooming, I have more tiny yellow roses on my arbor and everything is starting to bloom, more humming birds, butterflies, and the bees are out too. What's so surprising is, I am having spring fever ??? Want to get out there and get my hands in the dirt, rake the leaves out of the flower beds and from around my flowing shrubs, uncover my chairs and sit out there and read. The lemons started falling off the tree a few days ago, so if I wanted I could make lemonade, just might do that !!!! I spent a good part of yesterday, reading the Driver manual to renew my drivers licence, I don't retain what I read as well as I did when I was younger, thinking maybe I should read it again !!! (it is such a dry read), I have never had to take the written test twice, always pass the first time, but there's always a first time for everything !!! I made a pork roast on Sunday, have lots good pork left over, going to the market this morning, buy everything to make sweet & sour pork, and pork chow-mein over steamed rice. One of my husbands favorites. Have a good day where ever you are, and what every you do !!! Sully in Sunny California
