    1. [ML] A bit of help
    2. Don't we all at this age "need a bit of help" I can still make the bed, but there is plenty of other stuff around the house, "I need a bit of help with" I did have a lady who would do anything I asked her to do, wash the floors, get up on a ladder and dust high places, wash windows, especially outside I need a ladder, I don't get up on a ladder anymore, if I can help it. I say go for it, if it will make your life more comfortable. My husband complained he was losing his privacy with my helper in the house, it was just one day a week, it saved me a lot of work. So I had to let her go, he said he would do more and help me all I wanted (well, you know how that went ???) We went out early this morning and had a fast blood test, while we were sitting in the office waiting, I heard a CRASH outside on the street, I went outside and there was this SUV up on the side walk with front end damage, I walk out to see if anyone was injured, and the air bag had opened and the man ( maybe between 50 & 60 years of age) inside was injured, I went back in the office and told them to call 911, someone was hurt out on the street. I can't believe how long it took the fire dept. to get there, they are about a block away, we passed the Fire station on the way to the Lab, but they didn't show up for almost ten minutes. I was called in, had my blood taken and police hadn't even arrived yet !!! This is not GOOD, there was the other car, with damage to it too, there was women in that car too. These injured people needed help fast, there's a hospital not more three minutes down the road, St Jude hospital, WHY ??? didn't they respond faster ???? SAD, SAD, SAD. Something happened yesterday, my husband had to pick up a prescription, so I asked him to pick up a gal of milk. He stopped at a 7-11 it's like a Stop & Go market, small but no lines. As my husband was coming out of the market, he saw all these clothes all over the sidewalk, and there appeared to be a homeless women with her pants down doing her "business" in some bushes. He said some men walked out of the 7-11 and were just watching her, my husband said he was embarrassed for her, and quickly got in the car and headed for home. Here in California, some times Cities, dump the homeless people on their streets, by taking them to another city and dumping them out. My husband said there was way to many clothes on the sidewalk for her to have carried them there, there was no shopping cart (favorite place for homeless people to put their stuff in, and move it form place to place. Many of the homeless people on our streets are mentally ill, sick, or drug addicted. It's a shame we can't put these ill people in a place where they can be helped, over thirty years ago, our California state government emptied out the mental hospitals to save money, and since than out mentally ill walk our street. I am sure you have read about the homeless man that the fullerton police beat, ( they got a call of a man breaking into cars down at the train depot) Well, they found him, he had a back pack belonging to someone else, it has a passport with another persons name on it, and a I pad not belonging to him. This homeless man was a crack head, and had burned out his brain on drugs. His own mother had a peace bond out on him, he tried to kill his grandfather, and his own father didn't want anything to do with him. He wondered the street of Fullerton California, I my self saw this 37 year old man, at our Albertson's Market parking lot many a time, he begged for money, and was intimidating. The photo they had of him in the newspaper was taken years ago, when he was still a young man, and before he took all that crack. This is what I remember he looked like, he had a bear, all matted up and his hair was long, matted and dirty, he smelled. His clothing was filthy, his hands looked like they hadn't been washed in many a moon. This was not the clean cut photo of him in the paper, also they said he wasn't homeless, Well, he didn't have a home address, and his whole family didn't want anything to do with him, he was out on the streets day and night. Of course his parents sued the city and got money, for a son that was dangerous, and they wouldn't have in their homes, they neither got help for him, or gave him any assistants in any thing. The police had over 90 calls on him from people he who had problems with him, he was arrested many times, and he tried to kill his own grandfather, and threatened his mother, so she took a peach bond out on him, he couldn't get within a hundred feet of her or her home. Does this sound like a peace loving man ??? When these people are on CRACK, they are stronger and more powerful than normal, the police said "he wouldn't comply" Before he was taken to the hospital, there were four or five police just trying to keep him form kicking them, biting them and he was spitting on them from the first GET GO. I am not saying he should have been beaten, but he was a dangerous man, been in trouble so many times, I am sure if he smelled like I remember and was as dirty as I remember, these police men didn't want to touch him, who knows what diseases he had ??? Why don't we have more hospital who can take these people in and heal them? Well, been on here long enough. HAVE A GOOD ONE Sully, in Sunny California.
