Hi Shirley, We still get milk delivered to our house. [Massachusetts] Before we had delivery, we used to get our milk at a small local dairy. My kids got to milk the cows and watch the whole milking process. This dairy also sold the milk that was not homogenized, but they didn't have the bottles with the small area for the cream. They also had the best cream, because it was not ultra-pasteurized. Shady Oaks in Medway, MA They closed a few years back - I miss them. When I was growing up, we got milk delivered, but the milkman put it in a box, not in the house. This was in Rhode Island The same company still delivers milk there - Monroe Dairy - Now they have trucks that are painted like cows. My brother & I would always nag my mother to get the chocolate milk. In RI, we also got our eggs delivered. Now we buy our eggs at a farm.
