I'd do something about it if I could... Here in the Grate State of Texas, it's been quiet a roller coaster. High one day, low the next... Yesterday was quite warm here. In the 70's and very comfortable. I actually got out and racked the detritus from a recent plumbing problem. The plumbers had to did a ditch and they left a ton of rocks. Knowing that sooner or later, I will drive over that area with the lawn mower, rock gathering was a must... Of course, this morning it was 30-degrees with gale force winds. No rock gathering for me today.... Lost another hen yesterday. This time I found a carcus (sp?) the hen was intact except for it's head. Whatever it was ate the head and left the rest... Grrrrrr Later in the day I put cat food inside a live trap and this morning had the biggest possum I've seen in a while. I just returned from carrying his dead body off and re-baiting the trap. I'd like to think he was my problem but we'll have to wait and see. Everyone stay warm and dry and enjoy the rest of your weekend. The Dougster :-)**
In my world it is only 3 degrees. Wind chill of -12. About 6 inches if snow. We have been asked to do no driving. So I am at home snowed in. Two days ago I worked horses without a jacket. I love living in the plains. On Jan 6, 2014 8:30 AM, "Doug Crim" <ddcrim@gmail.com> wrote: > I'd do something about it if I could... Hi Lana, In some places the wind chill was -60. Many years ago, we had -40 actual temp. That was before windchills were invented. It seemed like it was always on New Year's Eve, when we were snowmobiling, that it was -40.
