Well here it is Wed. It is raining a little this morning, but now starting to lighten up. They say we may get thunderstorms this PM. This time of year with the warmer weather we tend to get them and then can get wind and have small tornados. Not huge but kind of mini ones that can still rip out trees. That is all I need. Yesterday we went to the eye Dr. for Ken for his dry eyes. His ducts are cloged up, we did some drops, but didn't do much good. So now 4 time a day have to put warm compresses on his eyes for 10 min. he said we can use rice in a sock and heat in the microwave. Then massage the eyes for 30 seconds, then wipe them, to get the debrie wiped out as he says, didn't see much this time. Then the special eye drops from them that you can't get at the drug store. Gees. So he is going to love having to sit down and do this, before it was just drops four times a day. After the first two days he didn't want to do them. If it was me I would be doing it on myself, but he just doesn't understand. Oh well, rainy so what else am I going to do. Have a good day out there, how are you doing Doug? Louise
Hello Louise. I'm sorry to hear of the problems with Ken's eyes. Mine are doing well since the surgery. Of course I'm tired of having to put drops in them but will have to do that for another month. It feels strange not putting my glasses on every morning. Am disappointed that I cannot read everything without reading glasses but thats how it goes. I see the doctor again tomorrow. I am soooooo tired of winter. We have had 70-degree days for a week now. I planted tomato seeds several days ago. yesterday I brought them indoors. Today it is very cold, low 30's and VERY windy. Again, I am soooooooo tired of winter. The Dougster On Wed, Feb 26, 2014 at 11:42 AM, Louise Valine <antique1931@saber.net>wrote: > Well here it is Wed. Doug, you are tired of winter and we are wishing we would get winter. Mt. Shasta ski resort never really opened yet. Usually they have a big new years thing there. No snow this year. All grass, dead grass. They are hopeing they can get snow from this storm. I hope so too. I still have to wear glasses since I had my eye surgery. Ken doesn't really have to except to read. He can do it without, but not so good. I just wear mine all the time. Have trifocals. Need it to read, and long distance. Also have to wear dark glasses out side so just have the ones that change for in and out. so much easier than having to find the dark glasses all the time. especially here where you are in and out all the time. My eyes don't close up as much with the light as they should, so light sensitive. You will get used to all this soon.
