We have about 6 deer that come into our yard all year. It has been tough this year for food because the snow has been so deep. They recognize us and come down near the steps. George or I go out and throw them bread. There have been 3 little ones with them and I feel so bad for them. I don't know if you can buy deer food or not. We would put it up in the back so we don't have deer food all over. I wonder if the county would supply us with some food for them? In my county they would supply guns or invite a coyote or two to rid them of the deer. I think they are beautiful==miles away from my hostas and other plants. Go to a feed store. My sis in law used to feed the deer that came in her place. They love to be fed and if not alot of feed this time of year they can die.
