I am so sorry. I know he will be missed! Connie My sweet Daddy went to be with the Lord about 6:00 p.m. last night. He was my anchor. I don't know how I will get through this except for the grace of my Heavenly Father. He has already given me grace and I have smiled numerous times thinking about the fact that Daddy isn't in pain any more and he has no more worries. He and I have talked many times about this. He was ready to go but didn't want to leave Mother and his children and grandchildren. He was a happy man, God fearing and lived a clean life. I am so thankful that we had him for almost 89 years. He would have been 89 on March 18. I couldn't sleep at all tonight. My mind just wouldn't shut down. I've been so busy the past month taking care of him that I haven't had time to respond to any of the posts on Memory Lane but just want everyone to know I'm still around. Martha Phillips Coates
