Good morning friends, it's a wonderful morning here in California, all that rain last weekend has made my plants and trees smile. This is one of those days that made my grandmother (from Pennsylvania) and grandfather (from Germany) come to California around 1912. We now have four generations born in the Sunshine state, and I hope to live to see a fifth generation born here too. I think I have Spring Fever, most of my plants are full of flowers, and the hummingbirds are out feeding on the nectar of all those flowers. We change the time to daylight saving time early Sunday morning, I can't believe it's all ready time to have daylight savings time !! Spring is only two weeks away, and I love it, can't wait to get my hands dirty in potting mix, clean out all the planting beds, cut back the bushes that are overgrown and plant some flowers in the big pots I have around the patio area. My oldest son has a birthday in about a week, can't believe our oldest is going to be fifty four years old, such a sweet baby, lots of silky blond hair, telling me he was going to marry me when he grew up. I am going to make him a special breakfast, as he will fly out that day to Texas, I have spent every birthday with him for 54 years !! Have a wonderful day, where ever you are, and what ever you do !
