I had a wonderful day cooking, just got in the mood. I think this has been coming on for some time, I started cooking Spaghetti sauce at 10:00 AM this morning, so it would cook down to a nice thick sauce. Made meatballs, and bought some sweet Italian sausage, so put that in about 3:00 PM, and it was ready to eat by 4:30, made a big salad, had garlic toast, was so GOOD. Have lots of good left overs too !!! When we went to Cost Co last Thursday, I bought some Cauliflower, I bought lots of Vegetables, got some Asparagus to make soup. When I started putting away my vegetables away, I found I had a big head of Cauliflower in my Veg. drawer, so I thought, Cauliflower Soup. Went on line, looked for a good recipe. Couldn't find one I liked, but found two I thought I could combine to make a good soup. So I made it, turned out so good, I had some for lunch, with some of that great Wheat bread that Cost Co sells. My husband is up, in the kitchen warming up a cup of the soup right now, he said to make sure I write down the recipe just the way I made it, because he would like it again real soon. It was overcast today, cooler, with a little sun peaking out now and than, good day to stay inside and cook. I am tired now, cooking all day, and than you ladies know about all the clean up from making Spaghetti, all the pots and everything. My husband is into all this march madness, made all his brackets (4) and found out he's in second place so far, he's one happy guy tonight, SO FAR. Tomorrow we celebrate our 57 th Wedding Anniversary, my husband said what do you want to do for our Anniversary, I said "SLEEP IN" Maybe we will go out to breakfast ?? I could go for some TAKE OUT Chinese food, from our favorite China Station restaurant tomorrow afternoon. WE'LL SEE !!!! Getting sleepy, It's 11:39 PM here, so Sweet Dreams everyone.
