Hawaii and Arizona are the only two states that do not change the clocks. I understood that the change was something to do with WW2 but in my old age forget what I learned in school. My flower gardens are buried under snow still, and the new snow today added a little more. The snow, wind and frigid temperatures made me stay inside today and try to plan my flower garden. The little bunnies ate many of the flowers last year so I want to get several Shepherds crooks to hang flowering pots from. Will plant ones the bunnies do not like in the ground. I may try a tomato and a pepper plants in big pots this year-two neighbors seem to have good luck with those. Does anyone know what the rabbits will not eat?? They ate all the mums and all the daisies last year. I wonder if we will even have Spring this year, I think we may go right into Summer! Right now the wind in just howling here in my little neighborhood-it is howling! Made potato soup with ham in it for a nice hot meal tonight-good on such a cold night. Have to get out and buy corned beef and cabbage to cook on Monday! Hope everyone is doing okay. Helen
Living in Arizona, I enjoy not having to leap or spring. However I still have to try and figure out what time it is everywhere else. So, it still affects me and my life.
