    2. Your now getting the Rain, Thunder storms, and weather we had over the weekend. Saturday we had a lot of thunder, it got pretty cold too, not as cold as you are Doug there in Texas, but cold for California. We did get lots of rain, but they keep saying this is not going to help the drought, they love to use our water consumption as power over us. They got lots of snow in Northern California, that is our snow pack, and when it melts, that's some of the water we use, and also from the Colorado River. One year when we owned a mobil-home on the Colorado river, there so much snow melt from the states up above us, that they opened up all the gates on Parker Dam, never saw the river so high, it flooded out some business's along the river that year. We got sun today, and everything looks so green. They are saying it will be 80 degrees by Thursday. Hope we get a little more rain this month ??? On Friday we had near 80-degrees... on Sat. the temps were well into the 80's... Yesterday morning, about 5 o'clock, I went out for a morning smoke. It was about 65... 30 minutes later, we had gale force winds out of the North and the temps were falling. I drove into Lampasas as I often do for a plate of Migas and the temps were down to 36. By mid-afternoon, the temps had fallen down to 23 and that's where it stayed. This morning we saw 15. Can anyone tell that I'm thrilled? A little over a week ago, I planted tomato seeds. On Friday I drove to Austin to take Da Warden, my ex wife, to Costco so that we could both become members. She sent me home with two tomato plants that she had potted up for me. It seems that I spend all my time moving tomato plants indoors due to the weather. Folks, this is Texas in March. We're supposed to be doing our gardens. <supermegasigh> The Dougster <~~~~~ who ain't happy http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~mbousman1/memory.htm ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to MEMORY-LANE-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
