    2. **** LANA ****
    3. My family is DNA matched to the Stewarts. They stopped using the Stewart name when they fled Scotland. They took the name of the Stewart family home. We came to the Americas as Renfrew. Taken from Renfrewshire Scotland. The home of the Stewarts. We had the oral history, DNA proved our connection to the Stewarts. My youngest daughter looks like she walked right out of Scotland. Red hair, freckles, but my husband was also Scot. His family ties are MacIntosh. The Moyes are still chief of the MacIntosh clan. They are from the Inverness, Scotland area. Funny thing is the Stewarts and the MacIntosh clan were always at war with each other. we like to think that with our daughter the two clans joined. She is a wonderful, amazing person. Very much a highlander!
