    3. My father had some banty chickens in the back yard. He built a nice little coop for them and they roamed around the yard. There was a rooster among them, and that rooster would attack me when I went out there. My husband and I had a mini dachshund named Fritz, who normally loved all people and all other animals except for a possum, which is another story. We had to leave him with my father for a little while (a couple of months) because we were temporarily renting an apartment in California, while our house was for sale in Oregon. Well, one day Fritz got the bright idea to take on the chickens, and he skinned one. And he was so proud. So he had to move out, and he moved in with my husband's sister for a couple more months until we could rent a house.
