I have house finches here that are regular visitors to my hummingbird feeder. If they get a good grip on the small flowers that surround the feeding hole they can drink for 10-15 seconds. Sparrows try but they can't seem to get the "hang" of it. I occasionally have to chase a woodpecker off of the feeder. There are some small warblers around but I haven't seen any of them at the feeder. Another regular visitor is a verdin. That's a very small gray bird, similar to a bushtit, but with a yellowish cap and rufous shoulder patch seen in adult birds.
