There is a very small beetle that just loves to crawl through the glass window panes(at least I like to think it does that) It looks very much like a Lady Bug. only it is orange or salmon or beige, instead of red with spots I see them land on the windows, which are tightly closed and locked, and a couple hours later there they are on the inside of the window in practically the same place that they were on the outside of the window pane. I found out they do have a musky odor---same way Jeannie found out she can get stung. Phew what a STINK They seem to travel in pairs because if I see one there is another one not too far away They like to crawl up inside the pull-chain on my kitchen overhead light. Jeannie I had the same experience as you when I killed what looked like an ant --Black and shiny, crawling up the living room window I caught it with my left hand and squeezed...got stung. my husband said it was some kind of wasp. he put it under our kids microscope. what I thought was the feeler was the stinger.
