    3. I do remember when everything was blamed on the Russians or Cubans---were we really thinking they could control weather, air, etc? I think old Mother Earth is telling us to go green and be kind if we want to live comfortably from now on!!! I hope the snow we have will melt away it is all dirty and nasty now! How is your weather this week? Helen

    3. Weather here has been pretty good this week. We still have some cold mornings but well above freezing. Afternoons have been in the upper 50s to mid 60s. We have had windy afternoons for the past couple of days. Today it felt like it was blowing across snow. Winds were out of the East and that is where the cold weather is. My hummingbird feeder was covered with honey bees this afternoon. The birds won't come around when there are a lot of bees. I am guessing about 50-60 bees. I went out twice and turned the hose on them but they just kept coming back when I left. So...I finally left them alone. What I need at a time like that is a bee eater. Let nature take it's course. 3. Remember when putting the earliest satellites into space was blamed for the extreme weather down here (tornadoes, hurricanes, draughts, etc)? There were those who adamantly did not want us or ANYone to put someone on the moon, fearing that would really mess up the weather on Earth. Donna Peachtree City, GA

    3. Emma brings up a point that I am surprised hasn't been mentioned yet... Global warming. How can there be global warming with the temperatures we've been having? Actually, global warming is the cause of our extreme weather conditions. Throughout the world extreme weather exists and it all likelihood, will get worse... flooding, drought, extreme cold. We in the US are getting a taste of it... spooky huh? :-)* On Thu, Feb 10, 2011 at 11:11 PM, Donna <dlk.chocolatelover@gmail.com>wrote: > Remember when putting the earliest satellites into space was blamed for the > extreme weather down here (tornadoes, hurricanes, draughts, etc)?
