    3. Hi everyone, my granddaughter graduated from nursing school school about 5 months ago. She spent 5 years in college and untold money. She and of all us were so happy beyond our wildest dreams. I wanted to be a nurse so much for about 3 years. That didn't pan out. My granddaughter's mother also wanted to be a nurse to but that didn't pan out either. We were so enthused beyond our wildest dream. Our grandbaby (oldest) was experiencing her dream come true. She went 5 years in college because she changed her major in the middle of the season. She decided that being a nurse was her calling. She also took extra classes during the summer because she wanted to be the best. D.'s grades were fantastic. Two A+'s and 0ne A, or vice versa, and one B. I do have a reason to write this email. She had two part time jobs while she went full time to college. Entered one contest and won a little bit of money for college. Volunteered to be with people who had MS. and she worked at a school with children who had disabilities. Now, if you were recruiting a nurse for your hospital, wouldn't you want to recruit her? She also had a degree in physiology to. She had interview after interview but nothing. The last hospital she interviewed with hired her because she had a degree in physiology. Now in our wildest dreams we could not imagine why no one was hiring her. We thought and thought and the only answer we came to was she was short in height, 5feet 1 inches tall. We believe that she was discrimatived because of her height. If any of you know someone or heard of someone and can't figure out why they were not hired as a nurse, please contact me. By the way, she went to one of the nations top colleges which I believe is in the top 10%. Thank you for any help. Barb tipperboo12@msn.com
