Remember Carl Sagan? Remember when Jimmy Carter was president? That was when two interstellar space probes were launched, each carrying a message to any civilization that might find either of these two spacecraft. An update on Voyagers 1 & 2 has just been released by NASA. They are reportedly at the edge of the Universe as we know it and headed for parts unknown. Will they ever be found? If so, by whom? At the rate that technology is advancing the possibility exists that we ourselves may be the future finders of one or both of these Ambasadors from Earth. If so, it will be a time capsule from 1977. At the time they were launched, scientists figured that the two records could last for hundreds of thousands of years, maybe forever! Not familiar with the Voyager probes? Click on the link and read.
