Doug, Thank you very much. When I was put in the hospital, I was just going to stay long enough to get a prescription for the cellulitis and get a cab back home...but the doctor had other plans. I have 4 cats and I didn't have anyone who had a key to my house to take care of them for me. But they do know a way in and out of the house...they must have gone to my neighbors house and ate...their mama (two of them) stays over there. The couple bought her a special soft bed, a very nice soft blanket and some towels to sleep on. On cold winter nights they would let her sleep in their house...my little stray that I have had for about 7 years is jealous of her and he runs her away from our home....she is 14 years old and the sweetest little mama cat that you would ever want to see. I am so blessed to have neighbors like this. I have thanked them many times and offered to pay them, but they would not take it. They told me that they buy her the best food that they sell for senior cats. Since I have been home, they have stayed very close by me no matter what I am doing. Two of them will only go outside long enough to use the bathroom. The other two are around in the neighborhood, within the distance of hearing a bell that I ring for them to come home. When I learned that my cats were all right, I was all right. The mama cat is 14 years old this month, her two surviving male cats will be 14 years old in September. One will be 12 years old around the first of July and the youngest is 7 or 8 years old...we all understand each other. ;-) I didn't mean to take up a lot of your time. Have a Blessed Day, everybody.
