    3. Behold! I bring you news of a coming event. In the wee hours of May 6th Earth will be passing through a debris trail from Halley's Comet that could produce visible meteors in some locations. The farther South you are the better your chances. This event occurs twice a year. At this time of year, the meteors seem to come out of the constellation Aquarius hence their name "eta Aquariads". The other time of year they are called the "Orionids" because they come from the constellation Orion. Most favorable viewing will be for those of you living in the southern hemisphere.
