We too are allergic to tick bites, and they can itch and carry on for a week or more. What I do is cut a medicated band aid down the center...to make them go further and you only need a little bit...Put it on the tick bite , 'rub it in', and forget about it. When it falls off check for itching and if it still itches put on another Band-Aid...till it's well. NO itching ..in my case. Showers are a definite band aid killer !*grin* Jeannie T ____________________________________________________________ Get Free Email with Video Mail & Video Chat! http://www.juno.com/freeemail?refcd=JUTAGOUT1FREM0210
Hi Jeannie. Yes paying bills thru the bank is a very sharp idea and i pay a few of mine that way. Not all of them but a few that i like to make sure they are paid by the day they are due but then i pay all of my bills on the first week of the month. Like you say the mess with stamps etc!! Now flour for a burn is a new one for me although it seems reasonable to me!! How much flour do you keep in your tin or bag or what ever you keep it in? Will have to tell my man about that one. Thank you. Viola.
Paying bills and making deposits electronically has gradually taken over the banking industry. Banks are on the look-out for more fees and ours has started charging $8.95 a month to get a hard copy of the banking statement.....they quit returning cancelled checks a few years ago. Electronic banking is easier in many ways but still makes me nervous. I like to see print outs of all the transactions and also see the cancelled checks but I guess I have to resign and say "time marches on"......it's moving too fast and all the high tech things are out of date about the time a person buys them - replaced by some thing faster more sophisticated. Reminds me of my dad saying "I'm just a back number" when the electric typewriters came on the scene. He'd just mastered the old manual typewriter with one finger pecking out the letters. My grandmother was only 14 yrs. old, working nights in a newspaper office, operating a linotype machine - in the 1890's. A modern girl. juanita > Hi Jeannie.
