    3. That sounds like a feast to me. It would have been helped by a pan of cornbread but sounds good nevertheless. My MIL would always have a large bowlful of cucumbers and onions in vinegar and water. She would make a large bowlful but by the time it was time to sit down to eat, the bowl would be almost empty. My kids loved them and they would keep sneaking some to eat before hand. The grocery prices just keep going up and up and I keep hearing that we could have food shortages in the near future. What is everyone doing to prepare for this? Doing extra canning or freezing or what?
