It's great when folks have been married a long time..they will put up with stuff that would make a NEWBIE bride run for cover ! Hubby wears a hearing aid, so misses out on a lot of wonderful bird songs, etc...I tell him what sounds are if he can't hear them clearly....and don't complain..Y'all may have to go into an assisted living place or get someone to help you...a thankless task, that. . He is doing a LOT more for me than he once did....For instance, I prepared every bite he ate at home for more than 40 years...He said what he made, sandwiches, etc. didn't taste as good. Well, when he retired I retired and he has learned to fix his own sandwiches, heat up leftovers, cook TV dinners, and even beans in the crock pot...He's come a long way, baby! I'm still trying to get him to do more cooking.
