    3. Has anyone else noticed a change in your health insurance benefits? A couple of days ago, Sherry called MDA to refill her prescription for her chemo-drug... I still don't understand why we can't find a local pharmacy that can get that drug, but that's how it goes.. Anyhow, yesterday the Rx was delivered via FedEx... when she opened the enclosed bill, she discovered that instead of a $50 co-pay, we were billed for $200.... YIKES! Sherry seemed to remember that at her work she did get something from BCBS about possible changes... Next week I will have to have all my scripts refilled... I'm almost afraid to find out what that will cost... Anyone else seen surprises in their co-pay? The Dougster.. :-)*

    3. Are you talking about Medicare Plan D prescription plans? All the changes should have been outlined in their booklets distributed in December, I think. I received a large booklet from BC/BS as I was interested in what their plan offered for 2011. We've had Prescription D plan thru HUMANA since the program began. From what I could determine BC/BS for this area (all States, I think may be different) they were more costly (for us) than the HUMANA. So we renewed Plan D thru HUMANA which had a $5.00/mo. increase in cost. I order several prescriptions thru RightSource, the mail order plan of HUMANA and thus far have had zero co-pay for Tier 1 drugs because they are generic. I will have to have refills before long on some Tier 2 brand name prescriptions though and they will cost $110 co-pay for a ninety-day supply. The problem I foresee in Plan D is the companies may drop a particular drug from their formulary which means there'll probably be higher cost in buying it from another pharmacy outside of our plan. We get some medicine thru the VA and they cannot - or will not - fill some prescriptions. juanita ks > Has anyone else noticed a change in your health insurance benefits? > > A couple of days ago, Sherry called MDA to refill her prescription for > her chemo-drug...
