3. Martha, don't recognize your name. My daddy was my idol, where ever he was so was I. I was his little girl and his favorite. So I know what it feels like to lose your main man. My dad past when he was 62 from stomach and bone cancer and suffered tremendous pain. I had a dream once a long time ago that I saw my dad and he was waving to me to go with him but I told him that I was ready to go. Martha, you will have these dreams to and treasure them. Best thought and prayers go out to you. He was a friend of Dr. Harty''s and all the women swoonon over him. I saw him on SUV the any night and 'blah' UGLY AND HALF BALD. I also saw Vickie from Young and the Restless on a cop show and she spoke not a word. She used to be beautiful but I guess time catches up with all of us. 2. I also love Downton Abbey, I have the first three DVD's and I saw the 4th one on sale at Costco. My birthday is coming up and that's what I am going to ask for the 4th season of Downton Abbey. I didn't much like it when Mary's husband was killed off at the end of season 3, Why must something bad always happen, when it seems Mary was finely happy. I don't know why Happiness doesn't last longer, they think something bad is always more interesting. I know the man who played Mary's husband, wanted out, but they could have done things different. I look forward to Sunday evenings Downton Abbey, even though I am not always pleased with the way things are GOING !!!!. Sully in rainy California. Yes it's raining, started a little while ago, I hope it rains all night !!!

Out of pain pills till tomorrow, and he sure doesn't need Buzz there to be waited on; He's bad about wanting Son to come from one end of their place to the other to fix the computer, or 'see' something funny' Love that boy, but he's constant..JneT ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ____________________________________________________________ Do THIS before eating carbs (every time) 1 EASY tip to increase fat-burning, lower blood sugar & decrease fat storage http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL3141/52ef43ad7f5a643ad188ast04duc

    3. Martha, sorry to hear of your loss. When you have been involved with the taking care of it is hard to all of a sudden not have that. I think of my daddy every day and he has been gone since 1969, also my mom. You have the memories to smile and laugh about the good times. It is a hard time. Hope god can help carry you through this. Louise

He was my anchor. I don't know how I will get through this except for the grace of my Heavenly Father. He has already given me grace and I have smiled numerous times thinking about the fact that Daddy isn't in pain any more and he has no more worries. He and I have talked many times about this. He was ready to go but didn't want to leave Mother and his children and grandchildren. He was a happy man, God fearing and lived a clean life. I am so thankful that we had him for almost 89 years. He would have been 89 on March 18. I couldn't sleep at all tonight. My mind just wouldn't shut down. I've been so busy the past month taking care of him that I haven't had time to respond to any of the posts on Memory Lane but just want everyone to know I'm still around.
