Oh no.......Buzz has a pet ! A warty, wriggly, nasty looking toad....and it PEED on him, first thing! He was talking fast...."Christian has a toad and he keeps it in a bucket and I don't see why I can't have a toad I will catch worms and bugs and feed him, etc " He's been learning 'speed talking ' from big brother John..apparently...After making him slow his flapping lips down and quit clutching the pore old toad till it's eyes really DID bug out...Papa said "Sure ..you can keep him...but how do you know it's a HIM ?" Buzz had an answer for that ...said ' The eyes are shaped different..like a boys." Okkaaayyy....We didn't know any better, so decided to let that pass..... Well, he's looking at this warty old dude like he's the toad from the wishing well, and crooning' I'm gonna catch me another one...a girl...and they can have BABIES !" He slanted a quick look at me while making all these plans and saw my shocked expression.{ I've SEEN those big globs of frog eggs hanging around the pond bank in the Spring, and I don't care how bad he wants baby frogs, I can't handle THAT !} He quickly caves...said "ONE !" I agreed happily to ONE baby frog... Since we happened to be fresh out of frog cages I suggested he use one of my bird cages.....bars close together, etc...good to go for a breather space....Buzz finally remembers to shut the outside door and while his back is turned the toad decides to escape...somehow. Well, he caught him fairly easily and put him back in the cage...Turned his back again and danged if that frog wasn't hopping across the floor !We decided to name it Houdini....Seems the bugger was standing up tall and slithering between the bars....Uh oh , he went under the chair.....couldn't find him at all..Poor Buzz....Poor frog...I expected to find his desiccated little body sometime on cleaning day....and Buzz was forced to go home frog less....Leaving LONG instructions on his care...Papa was to catch bugs for him till Buzz came back over here. etc, etc... After a day or two the frog was caught out in the open and Papa put him out on the porch in the rain....What do I plan to tell Buzz ? Welllll...Maybe I'll tell him Papa put the frog out to get a drink of good clean rain water while he went down to the garden to catch him a bug.....got back the frog had hopped away from home....Think he'll buy that ?Jeannie T ____________________________________________________________ Penny Stock Jumping 3000% Sign up to the #1 voted penny stock newsletter for free today! http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL3141/4dc0e21ddf7c910068m06duc
That's what my life is when Buzz visits...full of sunshine ! He's a pain in the patootie at times, but I laugh more that first day than I did the entire time he was away from us...Jeannie T ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On Tue, 3 May 2011 13:27:02 -0600 LeROI Frazier <leroyfofwv@hotmail.com> writes: > > Great !! You think you are safe if you get rid of assests before putting someone in a nursing home. Wrong, our lawyer told us that they go back 5 years. I didn't ask him what happens if you use some of your assests two to three years before putting someone in a nursing home. A friend of ours who husband died last year in a nursing home almost went nuts getting all the info the nursing home wanted. The nursing home told her that they wanted to release him, even though he was getting dialysis treatment. This was the only nursing home who had this machine. I called our county office to see what she can do. They told me that they would not be allowed to release him. A step niece of M.'s spent 4 years in a nursing home and paid nothing. This person, when she saw you, would come up to you and tell you all of her problems. She is a lazy SOB who never held a job. tipperboo12@msn.com
Viola It seems odd that I found them all in the same position. Someone said that they leave off an odor when they are killed. This isn't true. They leave off an odor when they want to have, sex. Humans cannot smell this odor. A guy here in Pittsburgh has built what he thinks is a tool to get rid of them. One time a few months back I heard this funny sound in my bedroom and I called to M. and told him that there is something in my room making a noise. Sure enough, I found what was making that sound, a STINK BUG. Now what purpose do they serve. While reading about them I read that the reason that lighting bugs light up is because they want to have sex to. We have bugs that are sex crazy. Fits right in this world. Thank God for you Barb. Some years back one spring i saw a few bugs on their backs in the light fixture. Told my man to get them out please because i was spring cleaning and he said o.k. i will take them out in the morning, but in the morning they were gone and by dark they were flying around the room. Next morning when he went out side to do chores they must have went with him because i never saw one again till fall. So who knows what dies or what really hibernates thu winter?? Viola.

I am so sorry if I led you all to believe I wrote that prayer. My brother sent it to me on Monday and I just forwarded it on not thinking that I should try and find an author before I forwarded it. Ol Buzz bought a like new exercycle at the yard sales Friday with $5 he borrowed from me....He hasn't got any money except that he saved up to buy a baby so I asked him how he was going to pay that 5 bucks back...He thought that over for awhile, then said he would drag the dead limbs out of the elderly neighbors yard, give me a massage, rub my back , massage my feet, start my bath, fix me something to eat{ He puts a hot dog in the microwave and counts to a certain number to know when to take it out...} , Do anything me or Papa tells him to, plus all the folks at his house, etc, etc....How could I refuse an offer like that ? I told him we'd have to ask Papa...hoping all the time that sucker would be sold when we went back by there from Kroger...He'd warned the people who parked behind us not to buy it, and the woman told him she didn't have room for it in her car....Danged if Papa didn't say he could have it ! He naturally told the owner to send it over to our house in a truck, and gave her directions...We were really enjoying his talk, as you can imagine...I told him we'd take the food home and come back.... Papa was laughing when he heard about our business arrangement, but when Buzz conned him into going back over there with us and doing all the shifting to get it in the car he was not so amused...Boy, I watched and learned as that little con artist got Papa to change clothes, spiff himself up and get in the car.....Guess he's learned at home how to get stuff done..."Papa, you need to think about going over there with us, because I don't think me and Granny are strong enough to get that in the car." I mean he can do it without making Papa mad...just amused, most times.... There it sits between our cars in the carport...and guess who's been riding it ? PAPA ! He came staggering in this morning and announced "I just rode a mile and a half !" Took me a minute to figure THAT one out....Buzz found it a good thing to amuse himself on when it was raining too much to get out on his regular bicycle....He's gone home now, and we miss him...he's finally growing up enough to take places and not have him run off and hide....Jeannie T ____________________________________________________________ Get Free Email with Video Mail & Video Chat! http://www.juno.com/freeemail?refcd=JUTAGOUT1FREM0210
I started out with having 7 aunts on myMum's side. I am now down to one aunt and she will be 100 years old on May 7th. I lost one in November and it was so very sad. Everyone of them were like second mother's to me. My cousins and I used to play together because we all lived in the same area. The aunt that passed in November begged her son to kill her. She was 97 years old. She wanted to die so very much, so she refused all food and water. She was very heavy and lost a lot of weight and when I looked at her, with that weight loss, she looked just like she did when I was young. That made it even sadder. I lost another one 2 years ago from cancer. She was the funny one and could get you to laugh anywhere. Aunt K. was 88 when she passed. Except for this aunt, all the others passed when they were in their 90"s. My mother was two weeks short of her 97th birthday. All of my aunts wore their age very well. None of them looked their age, it had to be because I am told I do not look my age, and my daughter has told me that people can't believe she is 49, 50 next month. I visit my aunt a few times a month, she lives in a senior citizens home, which is very nice, and it is close to my home. She keeps asking me to pray to God so that he takes her. I went to a funeral last week, small one. It was for the STINK BUG who invaded my computer room last summer. He drove me nuts with his (yes, it had to be a male) clicking. I could not find him. My (good heavens) bug and others invaded my home during the very hot summer that we had last year. That closes the thought that try to get in because of the cold. I washed a set of curtains and when I took out the curtains and the washing machine was full of dead bugs, except one that was still alive. Through all the wash and spin cycles, it was still alive, but not for long. I called to M. to take them out because I couldn't reach them. I found the bug, dead, on his back and legs up in the air. I found some other dead bugs at the same time and they all were on their backs and legs up in the air. I wonder what killed them. Barb tipperboo12@msn.com

I think they get on their back and can't turn over. Jus t my opinion. I have had some around here that way. Being in the country helps I think, but I think they have them in town also.
