    3. Annette, I also watched the beginning of the Casey trial...I knew right off...that this is just the defense lawyers plot...the Anthonys have been in touch by letter to Casey every day through her lawyer. Now we know what they have been talking about. This is all made up...with George and Cindy in on it...TO SAVE THEIR DAUGHTER FROM THE DEATH PENALTY. If you have watched the whole thing before...you know how quick tempered George is...well, he showed no emotion at all...because it wasn't the first time he had heard that tale. This way some jury will buy it...and the doubt will save her, and they can't arrest George for something she says he did a long time ago...unless he admits it...but he is denying it..so it's she said he said....but they know how this thing about 'abuse' has gotten the spotlight lately...and people do not like it...so if one juror decides to pity her for the abuse...and holds out on that...then she will get sentenced,.not death. I was wondering how they thought they would save her. Naturally a mother and daddy wants to save her life. It is sad that lawyers will do this. We'll see. But I am sure these parents are praying for one juror to find her not guilty. I can't watch it every day, but we really don't have to, now. Stella

    3. Like most older women in Central Florida I watched the Casey Anthoney murder trial and it was very interesting but also very drawn out and to tell the truth I was a little disappointed that Casey in the end through her family under the bus.   I really do not think that I would enjoy being a lawyer too much to think about.  My brother Stanley and I disagreed on a lot of things but one time years ago he told me that I was apt to be too soft hearted.  Then he said to me look on the building of the court house and read what it says.  It says court of law and not court of justice and of course he won the argument we had been having. I guess law and justice can sometimes be two different things.  Annette.     .

    3.   Well I have been gone for a few weeks because The Black Clouds descended on me and I did not want to put my problems on my friends on the list.  I should have known that something was going to happen when I made my remarks on the poor Royal  Family.  Sorry about that.   They are having floods in the mis-west and now tornados.  The one in Joplin,Mo. is real bad. I have not heard anything on the news about the storm in Tennesee.  So I hope they did not have too much trouble.   The weather sure has been crazy this year. Poor Alabama was hit hard also.  Here in Central Florida it is hot and humid and we are now praying gor rain again.   A couple of months ago I bought some Cala LIly bulbs from television and planted them and really did not expect much from them but  they are now in bloom and are growing like weeds.  They were so pretty in  the picture that I was afraid that they would be hard to grow but was surprised when they bloomed so soon and they are really beautiful.  I do hope they keep on growing and survive the hot humid Summers of Central Florida.   Will bring this to a close and hope that the weather all around our great country will settle down and my prayers go out to all who have lost loved ones and their homes.  Annette.

    1. [ML] FW: UP
    2. Emma Roses
    3. This is an interesting word study, Emma Most used word? I'm sure you will enjoy this. I never knew one word in the English language that can be a noun, verb, adj, adv, prep. UP This two-letter word in English has more meanings than any other two-letter word, and that word is'UP.' It is listed in the dictionary as an [adv], [prep], [adj], [n] or [v]. It's easy to understand UP, meaning toward the sky or at the top of the list, but when we awaken in the morning, why do we wake UP? At a meeting, why does a topic come UP? Why do we speak UP, and why are the officers UP for election (if There is a tie, it is a toss UP) and why is it UP to the secretary to write UP a report? We call UP our friends, brighten UP a room, polish UP the silver, warm UP the leftovers and clean UP the kitchen. We lock UP the house and fix UP the old car. At other times, this little word has real special meaning. People stir UP trouble, line UP for tickets, work UP an appetite, and think UP excuses. To be dressed is one thing but to be dressed UP is special. And this UP is confusing: A drain must be opened UP because it is stopped UP. We open UP a store in the morning but we close it UP at night. We seem to be pretty mixed UP about UP! To be knowledgeable about the proper uses of UP, look UP the word UP in the dictionary. In a desk-sized dictionary, it takes UP almost 1/4 of the page and can add UP to about thirty definitions. If you are UP to it, you might try building UP a list of the many ways UP is used. It will take UP a lot of your time, but if you don't give UP, you may wind UP with (UP to) a hundred or more. When it threatens to rain, we say it is clouding UP. When the sun comes out, we say it is clearing UP. When it rains, it soaks UP the earth. When it does not rain for awhile, things dry UP. One could go on and on, but I'll wrap it UP, for now . . . my time is UP! Oh . . . one more thing: What is the first thing you do in the morning and the last thing you do at night? U P! Did that one crack you UP? Don't screw UP. Send this on to everyone you look UP in your address book . . . or not . . . it's UP to you. Now I'll shut UP! No virus found in this message.
